Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory”- Dr. Seuss

A young eighteen year old girl attending Mount Vernon High School, class of 2017, name Dana Le, was given a surprise she would not forget on May 12, 2017.

Alyse Hall and Mahlet Eshetou, both seniors, arranged the sweet promposal by creating a small corridor of people for Dana, where she would be surprised to see them holding up signs with flowers and balloons.

In the promposal, Alyse and Mahlet sweatshirt’s had a picture of Dana to make the proposal more memorable.

“Even though I was aware of the promposal, I was very appreciative and cheerful of my friend’s hard work to put my promposal together,” said Dana.

Alyse and Mahlet have been best friends with Dana since elementary school, for about 9 years.

In the beginning Dana was not going to prom. She attended last year and thought prom tickets would be too expensive.

“I had made some consideration and told myself, senior year is about the importance of memories.” proclaimed Dana
